Dr. Jay Macklin is founder of Spirit and Truth Fellowship Ministries and the Circle of Love Human Services Ministry and is currently serving at Hillcrest-Bellefonte UMC. She has been in ministry for 28 years.  Under the leadership of Pastor Rod Parsley, Dr. Jay serves as Delaware Area director for World Harvest Ministerial Alliance. In addition to her ministerial duties she is currently the consulting executive director of Stop the Violence Coalition, Inc. She has held this position for 11 years, prior to that, she was employed as a City of Wilmington planner and bank Vice President. In 2010, she, along with 2 partners, launched the Direct Sales and Home-Based Business Network. This effort won the SBA Regional and State Home-Based Business Champion of the year 2011 award.

 

As a minister and entrepreneur, Dr. Jay enjoys small business development and making business dreams come true for herself and others. She is active in the Delaware Financial Literacy Institute as a Money School Instructor. Through the Direct Sales and Home-Based Business Network, she provides Money School classes and events at libraries, community centers and churches throughout the county.   She serves as a business mentor for several women and enjoys seeing them grow in their spiritual and business endeavors.

 

During her long career in ministry, government, education, banking, and community service, she has been able to impact the lives of many people. Along the way she has gained experience, wisdom and knowledge.

 

In addition to her past career experiences, she is also the founder of the Macklin Wisdom Certified Home School, and currently teaches her grand children.

 

She has earned a BS degree in Secondary Education and a BA, MA, and Th.D in Theology.

 

Dr. Jay is the proud mother of 1 adult daughter and grand mother of a teenage grand son and grand daughter.
